About Our Chief Strategist
Our founder & Chief Strategist, Kori Frazier Morgan, personally works with every client at Inkling Creative Strategies.
Kori has worked in multiple areas of the writing & education fields for 15 years, with nearly half of that time spent teaching communications, creative writing, & composition at the college level & mentoring writers in many contexts.

Her work has appeared in numerous literary journals, most notably Shenandoah, Forge, Switchback, & Blanket Sea, where she was nominated for Best of the Net 2020.
​
She is also the author of two books, Bone China Girls: A Poetic Account of a Female Crime & The Goodbye Love Generation: A Novel In Stories.
Frequently Asked Questions
20 pages doesn't sound like a lot. How will it help me with the other 180+ pages of my book?
A small piece of feedback from an objective party can often be all you need to unearth issues that may be impacting your story. You can easily take feedback from one section & apply it to other scenes or parts of the book.

What part of my book should I send? Does it have to be the beginning?
You can send any 20 pages you like, but sending the beginning of your manuscript may help you get the most out of your feedback. It's a chance to see how well your current opening grabs your reader's attention & makes them care enough to read on.

I write poetry/flash fiction/short stories. Can I send more than one piece or does it have to be just one?
As long as it is within the 20 page limit, you can send any number of shorter pieces you want.
Are the pages double or single spaced?
The 20 page figure is based on double spaced pages with 12 point Times New Roman font.
What kind of feedback will I get?

Kori will approach your work with 2 questions in mind: what is currently working & what is confusing or distracting. You'll then receive a written summary of how to approach your revisions.
How does it work?
To sign up for the service, click the button below to complete the order form. Then, you'll be asked to fill out a questionnaire about your project. You'll also attach a file of your submission (.doc.docx, and Google Docs accepted).
How long will the critique take?

You can expect to hear back from Kori within 5 to 7 businesss days.

How long do I have to sign up?

This service is only available through the end of June & submissions will be reviewed on a first come-first served basis.

Great news: as part of this special offer, you can add 75 cents for each additional page.
Typically, Kori's rates are based on word count, not pages, which can increase review costs. This is a great opportunity to get professional feedback at a reduced rate.
The questionnaire will have a place to opt in for additional pages & any additional payment will be discussed at the conclusion of services.
